irsplit stores as little as it can and nothing it does not use.

Without an account

The simulator sends the figures you type to our server to calculate the result, and nothing is kept once the answer comes back. We do not ask for your NIF, your name or your Portal das Finanças password, and we never will.

With an account

• Your email address, and a password hash if you chose a password (never the password itself).
• The scenarios you choose to save, and the documents you choose to upload.
• When you signed in and from which IP address, kept for a year, so we can spot misuse of your account.

Waitlist and reports

If you join the waitlist we keep your email address to write to you when the IRS season opens. If you report a problem we keep what you wrote, the page you were on, and your email address only if you gave it.

Removing your data

Delete scenarios and documents yourself from your account. To remove the account entirely, or to be taken off the waitlist, use the report formwith the address you used and we will do it.
